Liquid Metal

How to Apply
Liquid Metal.

Conductonaut and Conductonaut Extreme are intended for experienced users working with compatible surfaces only. Liquid metal is electrically conductive and requires more care than conventional thermal paste.

Check first Compatibility before performance.

Confirm the surface material and protect nearby components before applying any liquid metal.

  • Do not use with aluminium
  • Use only a tiny amount
  • Inspect before powering on

Watch before applying liquid metal. Compatibility checks matter.

01

Check compatibility

Confirm that all contact surfaces are suitable before opening the syringe. Never use liquid metal with aluminium.

02

Protect nearby areas

Work carefully around exposed electronics and protect nearby components where appropriate.

03

Use a tiny amount

Apply only a very small drop and spread it into a thin reflective layer using the supplied applicator.

04

Inspect before power

Mount the cooler carefully, tighten evenly and inspect the area thoroughly before powering on the system.

Do
  • Use only on compatible surfaces
  • Keep it away from exposed components
  • Inspect carefully before powering on
Don’t
  • Use liquid metal with aluminium
  • Treat it like normal thermal paste
  • Allow it to contact PCB traces or components
